Logan Landing

Visual Identity Design

About Client

Logan Landing is a luxurious private stay in Netherlands which was beloved by people and was recognised as best bed & breakfast of Netherlands in 2022. They also do weddings and event’s on theirs 1.7 hectare territory.

Project & Goals

When the client established their business, they asked me to create an elegant visual identity that would reflect their hospitality values and their appreciation for luxury and sophistication.

My Role in the Team

Once it’s a small family business I was working directly with founders of Logan Landing as an independent graphic designer.

Moodboard

One of Logan Landing's founders is originally from Scotland and aimed to include her cultural heritage into the business. Logan Landing represents a harmonious blend of luxury and coziness, a concept that we aimed to express through its visual identity.

Process

The process was fast and straightforward. With the client's clear vision, I could effectively translate their requirements into visual elements. My tasks included working on the logo, business card design, menus, stickers, and more.

Logo Variations

I created multiple logo variations, each designed to suit specific applications: an icon logo (ideal for smaller sizes), a text logo, and a round logo that combined both text and icon. The round logo was adaptable to meet different needs, whether for the bed & breakfast or weddings & events aspects of Logan Landing.

Because Logan Landing was a new and adaptable business, I wanted to provide them with different options so they could make adjustments as needed to suit their changing needs.

Typography

My font and composition choices were driven by the concept of Logan Landing having a classy and sophisticated atmosphere, which had to be effectively portrayed through visual elements.

The goal of a handwritten font was to capture the warm and personal aspect of Logan Landing's hosts. It mirrors their sophisticated nature while also fostering a sense of welcome and comfort, ensuring guests feel at home.

Menu Design Before and After: The initial menu variations were designed by the clients themselves. However, they aimed for a higher-quality experience for their guests and thus requested a redesign from me.
